Hello proud people,
I feel the need of a campaign that should say to amateur programmers
that they have interest to open the source of their own work.
-Because many of them don't know what is libre software and its advantages
-Because they think they will loose "fathership" on their work
-Because they are waiting money of it and see all the soft becomes gratis
I think an NGO initiative as from FSFE should be the best. As for
garancy. Then execution would be by single countries.
Effect would be to get a lot more of visibility, a lot of more GPLled
softwares, of people that download GNU docs, a lot people speaking
with passion...
and what nice slogans :
"libérez les logiciels"
"lass dein Software frei"
"libera il software"
and very nice logo (can't send it know)
well, FSFE as house of the liberties (joke allusion about Berlusconi)
Waiting for your gentle response...
PS: did you prepare a communicate for G8 in July? (as about development)
