La penso anche io cosė. Distribuendo compilati credo che infrangerebbero
la terza clausola della GPL:

E dato che non possono darti i sorgenti di una parte compilata
staticamente, non possono darti neanche il binario.... solo i sorgenti
che senza il pezzo proprietario non servono a molto. O meglio, servono
ad indurre qualcuno a scriverne un'implementazione libera....
