According to the Business Software Alliance, 40% of all worldwide 
		software is pirated, amounting to as much as hundreds of billion 
		Euros a year. In response to this unprecedented situation, a 
		European consortium has launched the ASPIS project, which will 
		protect CD-ROMs, DVD's and Internet software from international 
		thieves.
