l'EUCD comincia a dare i propri frutti.

La domanda che mi sorge, alla quale non so dare subito risposta e per la
quale chiedo aiuto è questa: prima dell'EUCD in Italia era proibita la
vendita di aggeggi anti-anti-copia?

	I'd like to know how our German friends decided to react to
this. Regarding french law, the reaction of EUCD.INFO would be to
claim that such action was already possible before the EUCD, provided
Macro 2000 is *advertised* as a circumvention device. It may be different
under german law.

Macrovision Corporation (Nasdaq: MVSN), the leading provider of
digital rights management and copy protection technologies announced
today that its German lawyers, Nörr Stiefenhofer Lutz, obtained
a temporary injunction, without an oral court hearing, in the District
Court of Frankfurt, Germany, against the Frankfurt outlet of Media
Markt TV-Hifi-Elektro GmbH prohibiting the ongoing sale of the Macro
2000 copy protection circumvention device. Macrovision was granted the
injunction under the newly-enacted German Copyright Directive that
prohibits copy protection circumvention devices in that country. The
Macro 2000 strips off copy protection from protected DVDs and allows
perfect video copies to be made from such content.
