Research project Global Challenges of eDevelopment will organise an
international seminar

POLICY OPTIONS AND MODELS FOR BRIDGING DIGITAL DIVIDES
Freedom, Sharing and Sustainability in the Global Network Society

Time: 14-15 March 2005

Venue: Tampere, Finland

Presentations of papers are invited under the following main themes:

Theme 1: Freedom and Sharing in the Global Network Society

    - new forms of electronic participation
    - open and collaborative models: free software, open content, open
      access

Theme 2: Globally Sustainable Information Society

    - ecologically,  socially, culturally  and economicaly sustainable
      technologies and cultures
    - balanced innovation systems and intellectual property regimes

Persons interested in presenting papers relating to the indicated themes should send abstracts of maximum 500 words to programme coordinator Marko Ulvila by 15 January 2005. See the contacts below.
