Secondo la definizione di "sistema operativo" il DOS non è,
effettivamente... visto che non fornisce una interfaccia unificata e
coerente alle risorse del sistema.

Il DOS è un "Disk Operative System" cioè fornisce un'interfaccia al
sistema disco... ma non alla memoria, al video o all'audio, per esempio
:-)
