the kittens!
Heya all,
So the campaign is coming close to a wrap up! Thanks to all of you
who have donated so far. There's a good chance we won't make our full
60k... that's okay, we don't have to make the whole thing. But we
should try to do as well as we can!
We need your help in this last push. You've already donated, and
that's awesome... but we need your help spreading the word so that our
final day (Friday! Tomorrow!) can go off with a bang.
To that end, I've written a blogpost about the opportunity we have at
hand:
http://mediagoblin.org/news/decentralizing-opportunity.html
And in case people are asking you, yeah... but what's
MediaGoblin *doing*? I wrote two other blogposts:
Upcoming features in 0.3.2:
http://mediagoblin.org/news/coming-up-in-0.3.2.html
And for the long term plan, here's a list of features we're planning
for MediaGoblin 1.0 (as well as a summary of some of the stuff we
already have):

Anything you can do to spread the word right now matters. There are
plenty of people who either haven't heard of MediaGoblin but would be
interested, and we should let them know. And there are even probably
quite a few people who are thinking about donating but are just
procrastinating! If you can blog, microblog, ping a friend over IM or
over the water cooler, submit to your favorite news aggregator site,
etc... all that stuff helps.
You Rock! Let's make this campaign end with fireworks!
