Si` e no... io quel server lo usavo per giocare IN RETE LOCALE.
Il sistema di multiplayer di certi giochi della Blizzard, infatti,
permette solo di usare Internet come mezzo "fisico", e non una
normale LAN, seppur usando comuqnue il TCP/IP (o UDP nel caso di
Starcraft).
Quello che i signori di bnetd (ma ne esiste[va] anche un altro...)
hanno fatto e` semplicemente permettere di poter giocare in rete
locale a quei giochi disegnati per transitare solo e soltanto dai
server Blizzard.
Che poi questo, in termini di ritorno di $$$ e di DMCA, significhi
che in questo modo sia possibile controllare le CD-KEY, puo' comunque
essere vero. (la verifica del CD-KEY, in locale, non viene fatta,
ovvero due stessi CD-KEY possono giocare nella stessa partita...).
