Proposed Statement about the GNU FDL. Anthony Towns proposed a
[8]statement on the [9]GNU Free Documentation License (FDL). In
November 2002, after a long period of consultation, version 1.2 of the
GNU FDL was released by the [10]Free Software Foundation.
Unfortunately, some concerns raised by members of the Debian Project
were not addressed, and as such the GNU FDL can apply to works that do
not pass the DFSG.
