eChallenges e-2005 Call for Papers

The eChallenges e-2005 Conference and Exhibition takes place in Ljubljana, Slovenia 19 - 21 October. This is the fifteenth in a series of Annual Conferences supported by the European Commission, which regularly attracts over 500 delegates from commercial, government & research organisations around the world to share knowledge, experience, lessons learnt and good practice.

The International Programme Committee for e-2005 is now inviting extended abstracts (800 - 1,200 words) for technical papers, visionary papers and business case studies. Proposals to arrange workshop sessions are also welcome. Related themes and suggestions for papers and sessions are outlined in the Call for Papers http://www.echallenges.org/2005/default.asp?page=call-papers

This year's conference themes include eBusiness, eGovernment, eWork, eEurope beyond 2005 and ICT take-up by SMEs and International Co-operation on IST. e-2005 will also feature an Exhibition and an attractive Social Programme for delegates, speakers exhibitors and partners, to enhance networking opportunities at the Conference.

e-2005 will provide a forum to showcase the achievements of FP6, eEurope 2005 and Regional, National and International ICT related initiatives, and look forward to the future by focusing on the thematic priorities of FP6 and FP7. The European Research Area (ERA) and research priorities and trends for the future will also be discussed.

Abstracts must be registered by 28 February 2005 on the eChallenges Portal - http://www.echallenges.org/2005/default.asp?page=abstract-info. Workshop proposals must also be registered by 28 February 2005 - http://www.echallenges.org/2005/default.asp?page=ws-info. Each workshop proposal should be supported by a minimum of two paper abstracts per workshop session, which will be double blind reviewed by the IPC.
