Titolo: Free and Open Source Software challenges in complex systems
engineering.


Abstract:

The fast uptake of free and open source software is raising several new
scientific challenges, that researchers need to address. In several
cases, results from fundamental research may have significant impact on
real world software development, allowing modern software development
to thrive.
We will present some results along these lines, coming from the Coccinelle
and Mancoosi research project.
The seminar will also give an overview on the IRILL project at INRIA
